SHI Leadership Team

Brian is an experienced people leader with a demonstrated history of execution in technology sales. In his current role, he is responsible for Commercial and SMB sales, alongside Sales Enablement for SHI.

Since joining SHI in 2012, Brian has held a variety of sales, technical, and leadership roles. In the process, he's become adept at building teams, developing leaders, creating efficient sales processes, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Houston and currently resides in Austin, TX.

As Sr. Vice President Public Sector, Denise Collison creates strategies that support SHI's development while guiding the Public Sector team in achieving SHI's mission. Committed to daily sales activities, Denise strengthens SHI's partnerships with customers, vendors and OEMs. One of Denise's most vital roles is caring for the well-being of all team members by creating initiatives like 'Well-being Workshops' and 'Employee Good News' videos.

In his role as Senior Vice President Enterprise, Eric leads and develops high-performing sales leaders and sales teams. He is responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of results in the Enterprise segment. His track record includes over 20 years of demonstrable revenue and profit growth, account acquisition, penetration, and retention across the SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.

Eric joined SHI in 2010 after spending eight years with Softchoice in a variety of sales and sales leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The University of Georgia.

Tom is an IT solutions industry executive with over 25 years serving in executive CEO, CRO, COO, Channel Management, and other senior executive roles. At SHI he is responsible for leading the Strategic business unit as well as Inside Sales and SHI’s Canadian operations.

As Senior Vice President, Growth, Derrek Hallock leads SHI’s enterprise growth strategy and oversees initiatives across global markets, specifically the Asia Pacific region. He partners with sales, operations, and marketing leaders to accelerate customer outcomes and expand SHI’s international footprint. Derrek directs a high-performing organization of directors and sales leaders spanning Asia Pacific, healthcare, modern workplace, international programs, and digital growth.

Derrek joined SHI in June 2025, bringing more than 26 years of IT channel experience. Prior to SHI, he served as CEO at Bluum, President & COO at Zones, and Vice President of SMB Sales, Operations, and Marketing at Tech Data. At SHI, he is focused on building scalable programs, strengthening regional execution, and advancing the solutions, services, and support that SHI delivers to customers worldwide.

Kapil is responsible for leading SHI's overall partner and product management. Kapil manages workplace services, strategies, and execution, and oversees the custom hardware configuration work performed at our Knox and Ridge integration centers.

A technology and business strategy veteran with deep experience in building distribution networks, sales strategies, and solution ecosystems that meet customer needs, Kapil came to SHI from Nokia in 2022, where he served in multiple roles across P&L ownership, strategic growth planning, customer delivery, and business transformation. After studying economics and engineering at Duke University, Kapil received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Drew leads the Customer Success and Acquisition (CSA) organization, which is home to 200 overlay sellers. This group is responsible for providing subject matter expertise around the strategic partner agreements for Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Cisco, VMware, and security.

After joining SHI in 2014, Drew has spent the majority of his SHI career building and leading teams that support Microsoft EA, SCE, and CSP agreements, also providing professional and managed services expertise.

Drew holds a BBA in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin and has called Austin home for the last 13 years.

Ryan Sheehan is responsible for the Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organization, Post Sales delivery & MSP practices, as well as overall technical strategy for SHI's Corporate sales teams.

Ryan joined SHI in 2009 after a three-year stint at Softchoice. Prior to that, Ryan spent nearly 10 years in IT leadership for a dynamic financial services company in Austin, TX.

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. He is involved in foster care and enjoys volunteering in his local community.

As Head — Spend Optimization Services, Shane Cronin leads SHI’s optimization practice, aligning IT Asset Management (ITAM) and FinOps services to help customers improve governance, cost transparency, and lifecycle control at scale to help maximize the value of their technology investments. Based in New York, NY, Shane partners across sales, services, and operations to advance SHI’s “Optimize” solution pillar, and he leads directors overseeing sales, customer success, and delivery.

Shane joined SHI in June 2025 with extensive experience in IT operations and financial management. He is passionate about driving measurable outcomes that help businesses transform their IT ecosystems into engines for growth and agility. At SHI, his focus is on strengthening service execution and expanding programs that streamline the “business of IT” for enterprises worldwide.

As Vice President New Jersey Inside Sales, John D'Aquila oversees a team of more than 350 inside sales employees responsible for day-to-day sales and customer support activities with a focus on ever-increasing growth, efficiency and collaboration.

John joined SHI in 2001 as an accounts receivable representative. He later supported SHI's e-commerce platforms in various roles for 13 years before taking over the Enterprise inside sales department.

John graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor of Science in management science and a Master of Science in management information systems.

As Vice President of Operations, Steve Alt oversees the operation and maintenance of SHI's buildings and infrastructure. His responsibilities include real estate, facilities maintenance and operation of the SHI Integration Center, including warehousing, configuration and returns.

Steve joined SHI in 1994 as an inside sales representative and quickly became a manager. In response to the growing size and scope of SHI's sales organizations, Steve founded the SHI facilities department which today manages 33 SHI locations worldwide, including our HQ locations, corporate Austin call center and the Integration Center.

Before coming to SHI, Steve served honorably in the United States Army and graduated magna cum laude from Kean University with bachelor's degrees in political science and public administration.

With over thirty years of IT and management experience, Mary Anne leads our Integration Data Center Services practice with an eye on emerging technologies that will strengthen our rack integration capabilities. She leverages her broad, functional experience to solve complex problems and pursue strategic objectives by aligning people and crafting effective solutions.

Prior to joining SHI in 2011, Mary Anne spent eight years with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and fifteen years with AT&T honing her technical skills. Mary Anne holds a Master of Communication and Information Studies degree from Rutgers University.
