The extender has a rate-adaptive setting to provide the maximum data rate supported by line conditions or you can choose a fixed speed. The G.SHDSL Two-Wire Ethernet Network Extender enables you to extend your Ethernet network over a single pair of virtually any grade of UTP cable so you save money by using phone wire or older CAT3 cable you may already have installed.
