How much do you expect your managed service business to grow (or decrease) in 2019? Why?:
We expect SHI's managed services business to grow over 50% in 2019. This growth is expected to come from new opportunities within current SHI customers not currently utilizing SHI managed services as well as net-new customers to SHI. Much of this growth will be associated with cloud managed services.
What emerging technology areas do you see being the biggest opportunity going into 2019?:
Cloud continues to be a huge growth area for SHI, especially in terms of migration services, managed services, helpdesk and optimization. Second would be unified communications.
What is the single biggest/most significant change your company has made in the past year?:
SHI's biggest challenge is always effectively managing our growth. In 2018, SHI grew 18% while increasing our physical infrastructure (breaking ground on a new regional HQ located in Austin, TX and reinvesting in our services business (topping 4,000 employees).
What is the biggest challenge to your managed service business for 2019?:
Managing the expected sharp increase in growth while maintaining quality and scale.
